Oh no, if only there was a bunch of humans and large contingent of Zetan military ships nearby! Then there might be a fighting chance! But alas even if there were such a combination getting them to work together in such a situation would be damn near impossible; they'd also need an inspiring story to unify behind such as one mirroring what led to Nea's grandmother's ascension and the original alliance between Zetans and humans, but alas where could such a politically convenient coupling be found on short notice?! I mean if they were to pull it off it would make them all the kind of war heroes who could get showered in rewards and/or lenient sentencing for numerous heinous crimes. But alas such miracles can't possibly appear in some sci-fi romance and space adventure story, that's just not how things work at all.
Sarcasm aside this story is a lot of fun, just hope there's enough time left for an epic climax, big romantic payoff, and settling of the political drama built up so far all in the last few chapters. It seems like it might get a little tight tying up all the loose ends in just three more chapters.

Yeah you're probably right lol, everyone's doomed, the story ends with the Cephalos eating everyone, there's nothing that could save the day now!
If things are getting too cramped we can always stretch the story out a bit, it's 15 chapters in my outline but that's hardly set in stone, and I'm thinking I'll probably add an epilogue, not a full length chapter, but something to cap the story off if that makes sense.

@Greenanon Understandable if a role reversal between the two isn’t in the cards… but The current situation seems like a perfect setup to explore something along those lines based on Nea’s earlier comments
Either way, keep up the excellent work. Dying to find out how this story wraps up over these next few chapters!

Any chance we’ll see some interactions between Nea and Kurt at their new respective sizes? Remember something like that being hinted at during their chat in chapter 10

I don't usually write giant guy tiny girl scenes, but I can't rule it out! Nea definitely would want Kurt to take the lead from her, at least once.

Well, this it a truly fucked situation. Thought I can probably the way out…
Hope Jolene walked enough in heeled to start running in them for this situation. This is where some kind of tech comes to negate all the issues with high heeled walking somehow. Wether gyro, gravity/weight alteration, or maybe use the nano-materials for the sole and heels to flex and assist walking, some other think, or a combo of them all. Besides also what extra could be given for power armoured ones, like rockets or a gravity generator powerful enough for flight(or ship grade shrunk to fit), and mag boots.
I do think thought that the existing town will have some successor with and even smaller scale, what with the cannon and the taste of the mansion.

Power armor probably is great for your balance already, Jolene can probably get some additional accessories tailored in since hers is all custom anyways.
