I enjoyed reading this story. It was a nice twist on the "No good deed goes unrewarded" thing, and very considerate of the genie to take care of his obligations in life. I you intend to continue this story ("Fin (?)"), I'll be looking forward to reading it. :)

Wonderful conclusion! I especially loved the thorough way she used her magic to make sure no one ever came looking for him.

You might say that, to his friends and co-workers, his entire existence is now just...a "foot" note.
