A great, yet brutal story. To your question on chapter 9, I would hope the tiniest have suffered enough and Elise realizes that. However, understand if that doesn't fit the theme.

This response is @ all four of the previous responses, just figured it would be silly to reply to all, so picked the most recent.
I'm glad the consensus seems to be the happy end, to tell the truth, that was my preference as well. The option for an alternate chapter is still there, as vic suggested, but the "canon" ending has been set, and I'm gonna go write it now. Thanks for all the responses :)

I love the story, the way the humans are just bugs to the aliens is truly excellent. Personally I'd like to see a good end to give the tiny people a break after all they've been through :P

Something tells me Humanity is not going to be restored to their former glory, or even recognized ): I would still like to see the good ending regardless, but... Why not do two chapters, ending A, and B?
