Hey Poison,
So first of all this story just like all of your stories is always top notch. It's like Christmas for me, every time a new story pops up from you. I been around for a while now, since 2000 (longtime lurker) and it always amazes me how your stories in my opinion get better & better, whether you posted under your name or your pen name. I mean I still have your old story archive bookmarked (had to use the Wayback Machine) when you were posting stories on your "Deadly Ink Blots". If there was a Mount Rushmore, it would be you, Scott Grildrig, Gator & Hedin. Reading your response saying "I think it's probably time to retire" I had to jump on and just express how I felt. Losing you would be like losing a National Treasure. You still got Scott posting on Devianart and Cat (under a different alias) posting new drawings on twitter. Sure, these younger people don't know the difference between stories and fewer people are getting reached out but you're always going to have die hard loyal admirers in your craft. I assure you are not wasting any time or effort into making any stories. Just like your blog states "if you're looking for is porn, you will be probably be disappointed". You're right I never came for the "porn" it's the story, the characters, the style & tone, which all of your stories have. Whew that was a lot, sorry just had to let it all out. If you are planning to retire (really hope you don't) I want to say thank you for your work both story and illustration. Thank you for your writing guide for those up-and-coming writers and thank you for the memories.

I liked the story and the interactions but I feel that the freckle part doesn't really fit into the story.

The freckle is representative of obsession. Fetishism is defined by a sexual attraction to a non-sexual thing so intense that it must be present for sexual arousal. In this story it's a kind of meta-narrative within an already paraphilic narrative. In this case size paraphilia is normalized while the freckle becomes a kind of diegetic stand-in.

This was a fucking great story. The way you wrote it, I really felt like I was there. I lived out every action of Diane in my mind and it was Awesome! Thank you for writing such a great story and please don't give up on this type of writing.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it, but it's become increasingly clear that I'm reaching fewer and fewer people. Given the time and effort I put into a story, the small handful of people (no pun intended) who find and read my work and the even smaller number who actually enjoy it, I think it's probably time to retire. The people who used to read my stories 25 years ago are now middle aged, with families and careers, and the young people around now have no idea who I was, or what makes my work any different from the hordes of people producing stories today.
