Nice start to the story although I wish Essira owned a smaller pet, I'm more of a 1/2inch to 1-inch kind of guy, 2 feet is too big for a tiny in my opinion. Anyway, the setting is really selling this story to me. Even in this single chapter and without too much world building you managed to tell just enough about it to keep my interest without boring me with too many details.
Really cool! Essira also seems like a likable mistress, she's not all "equal rights" with her tinies but doesn't mistreat them and loves/pampers them. But she also knows when to put her foot down and take charge when her pets get out of line! And the peeks we've gotten into her mind make her even more likable when she shows disgust for the treatment of humans.
I'm eager to get more of this, good story so far!

I had pondered a smaller pet for her but figured she'd be the sort to enjoy having more to love as it were. Pleased to know the setting is enjoyable though! Figured its a setting where its easy to focus on little aspects here or there.
Essira is the most fun I've had writting a character for this world, mostly because she's so fluffy. As well as a little eccentric.
