This is some really solid stuff. It's a neat twist on the fairy tale. And speaking of twists, the climax of this chapter was so dark and uncomfortable in the best way, like something out of a horror movie. I like all the little details peppered throughout to flesh out the world. Keep it up.
Author's Response:
The guilt for Mary was incredible for me lol, but i loved writing that scene, had the adrenaline really flowing! Only one chapter to go with this, but I really want to do a Fairy Tale series because of it
Thanks for reading & reviewing ^_^

So glad to see this again! You have a gift for writing, you really do. The story just flows and great character development. Very nicely done. Lookign forward to the next morning!
Author's Response:
Yeah... this was something that had bugged me for a year to finish, I'm in love with this story and it was always at the back of my mind as something i desperately wanted to keep doing :) I know its not perfect, but i'm so glad other people have become as invested in it as I have!
Last chapter t ogo and its already half done, so I will have to ready for the weekend :)

I feel bad about Mary, but you have to do what you have to do. Reflecting back on it, her murder could be taken as a mercy killing, given that if she had returned to the castle she could have died slowly due to multiple beatings, starvation, dysentery, plague, et cetera, et cetera. At the very least, the Bears relieved the woman from a life of being unappreciated by toxic personality bluebloods like Gwen.
Author's Response:
I felt really guilty for doing that with Mary, i honestly did! I was shaking after i finished writing that chapter lol

Aww, poor Mary. I think the poster below me missed the reason behind it though, it wasn't to keep thier plan intact for the Princess, but ratehr to avoid the troubles that would have befallen them once the King found out what has been going on.
Very interested in seeing what Catalina has in store for Gwendolyn!
Author's Response:
yeah, most people got that, thankfully, but oh well...
I might put a "graphic content" warning up at the start of the next chapter lol. Catalina has a lot of pent up agression to take out on Gwendoline ;)

I didn't see that coming, I didn't think the princess would walk out of that house again but I suspect she may just be foolish enough to return there alone once again *weg*
Great descriptons as usual, the brushing of Catalinas hem just above Gwendolines head, patting down her dress with puffs of smoke, you paint a very vivid picture of whats going on. Love it, great work!

I assumed you died... Again... Unless your friends are necromancers.
Author's Response:
They had trouble finding enough genuine virgin blood to re-fuel my demonic power =P

Good to see you, Emm! Your writing has been greatly missed :)
Ohh foolish arrogant Goldilocks, entering Catalinas home unattended, tsk, don't thik you will be coming out, at least not the way you entered it *weg*
Superbly written as usual, loved the world you crafted here and of course, I know the fun stuff will be delicious when it gets here.
Thank you for continuing this story!
Author's Response:
Thank YOU for continuing to support my writing so earnestly ^_^
I've been loving writing like this, its so much fun hehe, but i get a little carried away, you should see the pages (literally, PAGES) i had to edit out of this to stop it turning into an odd kind of extended Novella lol =P
As it is, this 3-part story is actually going to be a 4-parter now :P

Very nice introduction. :) I've really enjoyed reading your other stuff and while this may be differwnt, I'm definitely looking forward to more!
Author's Response:
Thanks for reading :) This may seem a bit 'out there' lol i think the general premise and tags.. and warnings in the summary... will scare a lot of folks off but it will be worth the read (hopefully) I promise!! :P

I have read your earlier stories. Not what I would expect. I never was a fan of fairy tales.
I did like the change on the story. Nicely done, though maybe a change of title would attract more people, and mentioning the fairy tale aspect in the summary would help.
Author's Response:
I mentioned that it was "My own version of a kind of Grimm Fairy Tale" in the summary, its jsut after the intro :) I've always been a fan of epic style fantasy stories, the whole princess in the castle, evil dragon, knightly knight lol, but yeah, each i know not a lot of people will read this if only because it has the "Giant" tag in the description
This is only going to be one or two chapters more, normal 'modern-worldy' type vicious killing of tinies will resume shortly :P

Nice introduction, I like the feel youve given this world and it's inhabitants. The size and genre aren't up my alley but you being my favorite author, I'll be tagging along for the ride :)
Author's Response:
Thanks for sticking by it hun :) Not to worry, though Bram may be essentially the main character, all of the 'good stuff' will happen between his wife Catalina and Goldilocks, I'm just throwing my hand at telling my own version of an Epic :)
