Seriously, though: this was a nice pastiche. Quite canonical, for the most part. Thanks for sharing it.
Author's Response:
Well for about a year, ever since the Wild Wild West came out on DVD in Australia, I've been toying with the idea of a Big Valley crossover, and I soonafter thought of using Zeb Walton, but not as a vore boy. That only came last week to my twisted mind. I'm glad you got a Jim West kick out of it.

Or, you could have her surrogate-fathered by a gentleman named Norton Taylor. ;-)
Author's Response:
That might just work. But now I'm a bit confused. Was the actress's maiden name Judy Norton and she later married a Mr Taylor, or was her maiden name Norton-Taylor? When did she get married, if she did?

It sort of gives new meaning to the term..."Sweet Williams."
Author's Response:
And you're not JOSH-ing, ho ho.

Zeb WALTON????? Whatever will the Earl of Hamner say? ;-)
Author's Response:
Well I couldn't rewrite the existence of Earl Hamner Snr, but the fictional John Walton Snr etc were in the same realm as the Wild Wild West & Big Valley characters.

R.I.P., Zeb.
Author's Response:
But did you guess who Zeb would have grown into?....
I seem to keep thinking (on and off all day) about the fact you pointed out, that West could have easily beaten the Barkley boys, if he was in Season 1, when he still remembered his martial arts. They seemed a bit lacking in Season 4. It was a major writing blunder on my part.

A brilliant plot twist, I must admit. As to how Loveless accomplished the metaphysical feat of trans-dimensional teleportation? He half-hinted/half-bragged that he's spent thirty years working on it! Ten years, studying pitch. Another decade, studying the relationship between the "variable density of matter and the vibratory rates of sound." And, the final decade mastering carpentry, portrait-painting, etc.
Author's Response:
He must have started young. The story twist has made quite an impression on a non-gts reader too, though I didn't send him any text after the point when Audra takes over the Ranch.

To be Audra's shrunken man-pet, I'd have destroyed the antidote, myself (rowr-rowr)!
Author's Response:
Then you'll no doubt enjoy the two open-mouthed close-up screams towards the end of Season 3's "A noose is waiting" (great for gts vore/mouth play), and naturally the last image i looked at just before writing the story.
Date: March 01 2012 1:12 PM Title: Chapter 3: A RUSE IS WAITING
The murder of Tom Barkley, probably.
Author's Response:
Tom's death won't be rewritten in any timelines of this story. Though you might get an interesting surprise when I get to the guest stars in the last two chapters.

And, technically, James West should have been able to best both Jarrod _and_ Nick, with Artie tied to his back!
The only, most remotely feasible, explanation would be the interdimensional version of jet-lag. "Night of the Surreal McCoy" explicitly depicting an initial state of unconsciouness following rematerialization of any sonically teleported party not used to it.
Author's Response:
I know. I had to write rather weakly, to get Arty and Jim into that predicament.

I can already see it, now. Victoria Barkley/Artemus Gordon, and Audra Barkley/James West. Yummmmmmm!
Author's Response:
That would have been interesting, and the way I'd have paired them, but wait til you see what I did end up doing with Audra.
