You had a pretty intriguing first chapter and with some good setup and promise for even more. This chapter delivers. While light on action getting the other half of the coin in Alice, her life story, how she feels about the South City Disaster, was all a welcome take. I feel like I know enough about both Alice and Nora to understand what each has going into their confrontation that is teased brilliantly at the end of this chapter.

Do find it odd that Nora is the ONLY person to recognize her but then again, humans are historically finicky when it comes to remembering faces so it's not that big of a deal. Overall, still invested and looking forward to see what comes from this one. :D

This is such an interesting story,I love it. As a person with ADHD and a short attention span its hard for me to read through whole chapters. But your descriptions are really great and I am totally here for it. Also love how you gave Alice such an interesting backstory. Cant wait to see how you will continue. I suffer from the loss of a family member too,so I can totally relate to Nora of course. At the same time, I am a devoted worshipper of giantesses in my fantasy and always root for them to realize how powerful and godlike they are. So yeah,I am pretty divided XD. Keep it up. I should probably start checking out your other stories properly now lol.

Author's Response:

Thank you for the kind words! I’m glad I could make Nora sympathetic; that’s exactly what I was going for. But it seems like telling Alice’s side of the story panned out as well, lol! Perhaps you can pick a side to root for more than the other in the coming chapters.

Chapter 1 is rather tame IMO, since most of its content is already in the summary, except the part where Alice being apologetic and claimed to be unintentional, which is kinda unexpected and mysterious.

In this chapter we get to see more actions and know some back story about Alice. However, she seems unable to control her growth; She also doesn’t enjoy being big and destroying stuff at all (at least for now); Combining with the “sleeping her size off for two years” mechanic, I am a bit concerned that the development of the story would be limited by these factors, especially the core content, you know, giantess action scenes. Well, I am curious to see how it goes.

There’s one thing that catches my attention though: The “Lesbians” tag. Are you implying that Nora would miraculously form some sort of friendship or even romance with Alice? If that’s the case it would indeed be one hell of a plot twist, but I guess it definitely won’t end well for Nora, LOL!

Author's Response:

Thank you for the kind review once again! I always enjoy reading them. Don’t worry; I have the plot fully planned out to make sure I don’t run into a wall with Alice’s growth mechanics, lol, As for Nora and Alice’s relationship… stay tuned!

This is fascinating. Alice is clearly sociopathic and/or detached since she treats such a massive loss of life and horror as an oopsie. Like someone taking a picture of her picking her nose. She couldn’t care in the least that she murdered millions of people, her parents included. Heck, she can’t even pretend to be horrified even when people are looking at her. She just treats it all with an air of casualness.

This kinda reminds me of Brightburn. An all powerful non-human being that seems to be built to destroy the world with a paper thin veneer of humanity. Except Brandon actually did seem to care for his parents at first and only turned against them after they (justifiably) tried to kill him while Alice very clearly doesn’t care even while given unconditional love.

I assume she’s much more demonic or magical in nature given her comments abour being a cursed child.

I’m curious on how she’d react to Nora. For whatever reason, Alice seems compelled to blend in despite her uncaring nature, so knowing someone else knows who she is would be interesting. Does she threaten Nora? Does she not care at all and just lets fear keep Nora from saying anything? Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for this review! I’ve never watched Brightburn, but now it certainly seems intriguing lol. I enjoyed your interpretation of Alice’s character, and I’m glad that you’re looking forward to seeing her and Nora interact!
